Summer Reading
June 3 - July 8
The Summer Reading program at the Hardin Northern Public Library will kick off on June 3!
All children in the community are welcome to join us for Summer Reading!
Readers enrolled in Summer Reading will check out and read books from the Hardin Northern Public Library. When the books are returned, a ticket will be given to the reader for each book read. Place the tickets in the prize drawings for some really cool prizes including bicycles, tablets, games, journals, and more!
While we encourage participants to read whatever books they have available to them, only books checked out from the library will be eligible for tickets and the drawings.
Each Tuesday at 2:00 pm throughout Summer Reading, we will have a free fun and educational program offered. We will have the Exotic Zoo, Lindsay Bonilla, a children's author and folktale storyteller, Drummunity, Bright Star Children's Theatre, and River City Puppets-National Touring Puppet Theatre. The shows are free to attend and a schedule of the shows will be available upon registration or on our Event Calendar. All programs will be held at the library!
All tickets must be submitted by Tuesday, July 8 at 8:00 pm. Winners will be drawn after Summer Reading has concluded.
